For couples who are or wish to get pregnant

Disclaimer

Smarter Pregnancy (https://www.mijnleefstijlzorg.nl/smarterpregnancy) is a tool that helps couples who wish to have a healthy baby.

Smarter Pregnancy is a web application combined with push messages and e-mail on the mobile phone. Each participant screens her- or himself by answering questions and is then supported in improving nutritional and lifestyle behaviours. By following the program, participants gain more knowledge and skills to change unhealthy behaviours and maintain healthy behaviours.

The information on the website and in the e-mail messages is based on current scientific knowledge and has been compiled with great care by experts. However, Erasmus MC is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that might arise from the use of the information provided. No rights can be derived from requests from the website and e-mail messages.

Erasmus MC cannot declare any liability for damage to the use of the information on the website and e-mail messages. This information cannot be used as a substitute for a consultation of a treatment by a care provider.

Smarter Pregnancy (www.mijnleefstijlzorg.nl/smarterpregnancy or www.smarterpregnancy.co.uk) is an online self-help program and therefore for personal use. This means that the participant remains responsible for his or her own health and must actively seek help if something is amiss. For personal advice and when using medication, we recommend that you consult your healthcare provider.

The self-test and the interim screenings of Smarter Pregnancy are also used by caregivers to get an impression of the diet and lifestyle behaviours of the patient.

Erasmus MC does not guarantee that following the program all known health risks and behaviours will be detected and changed. Therefore, it gives no guarantee of pregnancy and having a healthy child.
